First of all, my apologies for the complete lack of updates during January - a busy month! I've caught up with the last three matches now though and there is no change at the top with Garry King still flying high, albeit with his lead cut to 13 points now. Adrian Moore has been one of several scorecasters to collect 9 points from the last three matches, climbing into second place as a result. Nick Macklin and Di Curtis managed a similar haul and now sit 6th and 7th respectively. No change at the foot of the table either where Keith Sumner still trails Angela Williams by just one point.

Nobody predicted that Chesterfield would reach the final of the Football League Trophy from the northern section and this coming week we will learn who progresses from the southern section as Barnet battle it out with Swindon. Russell Hewitt is the only interested party here though, backing Swindon to get to the Wembley final and bagging him 5 much needed bonus points into the bargain.

The Gillingham v Rotherham match, postponed on 7th January because of FA Cup appearances, has been re-scheduled for 21st February. Meanwhile, the next match for scorecast points is Morecombe against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday.
