Bere Regis Cricket Club Chairman, Herbie Swann (far left) accepts a cheque for £100 from The Drax Arms landlord, Steve Hills, on 16 May during the tea interval of the Sunday side's home match with Gillingham 2nds. This represented the second instalment of the Drax Arms involvement with club. Last year the pub sponsored the team playing shirts which players are wearing this season. Our thanks and appreciation go to Steve and his wife Collette, and welcome their family to the village after their recent move from Wales to the Dorset countryside. |
