After only a couple of seasons in goal, Dean is improving all the time. A better shot-stopper than John Lennon, Dean fancies his chances against anyone in a one-on-one situation. Thanks to his hatred of chips after the first game of the season, Dean now fills the goal more with his presence than with his actual body size. Yet there is still no sight more frightening in this game of football than Dean bearing down on you at speed, just ask any of his defenders. Likened to Peter Schmeichel by many, but only in the bacon adverts, Dean has proved to be a formidable obstacle this season and not just at the bar. Bere’s number 1 for many seasons to come!
