A bit of a mixed season for Ian this year as he sought to establish himself in the side. As one of the few youngsters who help to keep the squad’s average age a touch under 50, Ian has matured well this season, with his hair changing colour already. He has now made the forward position his own, learning a lot from the more older players around him (how to down a pint in one; how to elbow your way to the bar). He has a great eye for goal and any half chance will be gleefully smacked into the back of the net. He also holds the ball up well for his midfield, using his superior body weight to his advantage. A future prospect, despite the handicap of being a Villa supporter!
