Gary has been a stalwart in defence once again this year. Whilst he is not always on time it is hoped that the lucrative sponsorship lined up with Thomas Cook will ensure that his travel arrangements are a bit better next year. When he does arrive, however, he is the most intimidating defender that Bere can muster. Harder than Vinnie Jones on Viagra, he forces his opponents on to the back foot, or what is left of it with two broken bones to his credit this year. Once the ball has been won, along with other bits of the attacker, Gary will then tease the opposition into some reckless tackling before calmly laying the ball off to one of his team mates.
